Crafting Lundia Original

The spruce wood used in Lundia furniture originates from production forests in (Northern) Europe. These forests are meticulously managed for sustainable timber production. After a minimum of 30 to 45 years, the trees are selectively harvested, and new ones are planted in their place.
Sustainable Production with FSC and PEFC Certification
The spruce wood is transformed into rough planks and transported to the Lundia factory, where we uphold sustainable production standards.
First and foremost, all the wood used by Lundia carries FSC certification. FSC, or Forest Stewardship Council, is the leading international certification that sets stringent criteria for sustainable and socially responsible forest management. It enjoys the support of governments, businesses, and environmental organizations.
In addition to FSC certification, the production of Lundia Original adheres to other significant social and sustainable standards. Here are our certifications:

Packaging Material
We understand the importance of protecting your Lundia cabinet during transportation while minimizing our environmental impact. To achieve this, we strive to employ sustainable packaging practices. Whenever possible, we use recycled packaging materials for our shipments. This approach eliminates the need to purchase new cardboard or contribute to unnecessary waste. You can identify if your order is packaged with reused materials by the sticker on the packaging. Any excess packaging materials in our warehouse are responsibly recycled at local facilities.
Tree Planting for Sustainable Transportation
The manufacturing and transportation of Lundia Original result in unavoidable CO2 emissions. However, we take proactive steps to offset our carbon footprint. In collaboration with our sustainability partner, Kuwi.org, we actively participate in tree planting initiatives. Since the beginning of 2023, we have fully offset our CO2 emissions throughout the entire production process, from material sourcing and component manufacturing to customer delivery.
