With a closed cabinet, the back panel ensures stability. For an open cabinet, you need a diagonal support for this. The diagonal you need depends on the height and width of the cabinet. See the table for this. You mount the cross to the side panels on the back of the cabinet. Want an open cabinet but no diagonal support? You can do that by securing your cabinet to the wall with adjustable wall brackets .

The Lundia Original system was invented in 1949 by Swedish designer Harald Lundqvis. That same year he started working with Dutch furniture makers Colebrander and Heinen. In Varsseveld they started the first production of the flexible cabinet system.
