Design cabinets

As material we have chosen furniture board that is finished with a top layer of real wood veneer. Compared to solid wood, furniture board has many advantages: it is more stable, less subject to movement and also lighter in weight. This is because the core consists of light wood types such as poplar, spruce and pine.

Various types of veneer are available for the top layer. For Certo we chose a wooden top layer (Formager by Ceiba) in combination with oak veneer. Real wood veneer, because the authentic look and texture of natural material cannot be matched with an artificial alternative. The top layer can then be finished with a water-based lacquer in a colour of your choice.
